Hermès Love Around the Block

“A very Hermès party—meaning, luxury around every corner and no detail unnoticed. Though Hermès took things a step further, adding a theatrical narrative and Broadway-style performances which unfolded over the course of the evening like a fashion heaven extravaganza.”

For the past few weeks I had the privilege & opportunity to take part in The Table of Silence Project, conceived and choreographed by Jacqulyn Buglisi. The Project is a partnership with the Buglisi Dance Company and Lincoln Centre where 100 dancers come together on the anniversary of the tragic events on 9/11/2001, and perform a performance ritual for peace.

Yesterday (9/11/22) was the twelfth year of the Ceremony, taking place early in the morning out on the Plaza at Lincoln Centre.

It is always a privilege to be surrounded by dancers, but it really was a moving experience getting to be outside as a group using the universal language of movement to create something for peace and the world.

"The Table of Silence Project represents the common threads of humanity which unite all mankind into a single force with common goals and aspirations regardless of race, culture, or religion.  Through this event, we wish to achieve the dual purpose of celebrating and honoring peace and freedom for all people suffering oppression, through listening, a united moment of silence - a call for Peace in our world."
